The Azerbaijani government deepened a new animosity direction regarding Armenia, especially starting from 2022.
A fascist organized state policy based on hatred is being pursued to represent the entire territory of Armenia as Azerbaijani.
For this purpose, the false concept “Western Azerbaijan” was created under the direction of this government, within the framework of which active works are being carried out for both internal and external audiences.
Almost all Azerbaijani media have started this purpose, opening a separate column on their websites with the title “Western Azerbaijan”.

Most of the media are actively distributing analyses, interviews and films devoted to this propaganda thesis, and the Baku TV government agency has started a new video series, “Chronicle of Western Azerbaijan”, and keeps the topic active with daily videos and analyzes especially for the domestic audience.
The materials distributed within the framework of this topic are seasoned with accusations, anti-scientific arguments and obvious threats directed at Armenia and the Armenian people. Residents from different settlements of Azerbaijan are involved in the films. With such a chosen methodology, the government of this country inflames the hostility towards Armenians in the Azerbaijani society.
