It is designed by the draft also to include the persons not being in the military service temporarily appointed by the working contract to the vacant military position by the established order in the series of beneficiaries having right to receiving compensation for damages caused to the life or health of the servicemen during the defense of the Republic of Armenia. On October 23, at the regular sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security, the RA Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan said, presenting the draft law on making Addenda and Amendments to the law on Compensation for the Damages Caused to the Servicemen’s Life and Health during the Defense of the Republic of Armenia for debate.
As the Deputy Minister presented, after being presented in the first reading the draft has not been amended in content, amendments of technical character have been made.
The Committee Chair Andranik Kocharyan clarified that the draft relates to one person, which also should be included in the implementing social programmes.
The Committee endorsed the draft. It will be debated during the NA upcoming regular sittings.
