On December 1, in Skopje, on the sidelines of the 30th OSCE Ministerial Council, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Filip Ivanović, newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro.
The Ministers mutually expressed confidence that through joint efforts and based on existing friendly ties, it will be possible to enrich the bilateral agenda between the two countries. To this end, specific areas were identified in which there is a tangible potential for cooperation, in particular, in high technologies, science, education and tourism.
Emphasizing the priority that the Government of the Republic of Armenia attaches to the field of information technologies, Minister Mirzoyan expressed willingness to make efforts towards the exchange of expertise and implementation of joint programs in this field.
An agreement was reached to combine the proposals and discuss them in the format of political consultations, as a result of which the sides could form a proper legal framework of cooperation between Armenia and Montenegro.
