During 2023, the Budget Office received 45 inquiries, 17 out of theme were from the deputies, 28 – from the Standing Committees. 511 certificates were prepared based on the received inquiries and provided to the RA NA Vice Presidents, the Standing Committees and factions, as well as to the deputies: The Coordinating Expert of the RA NA Budget Office Haykaz Nasibyan said this.
The annual report for 2023 of the RA NA Budget Office on the work done was debated at February 19 sitting of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.
During the financial period, the Budget Office prepared and submitted to the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the brief descriptions of the annual report on execution of the state budget for the RA 2022, the reference presented by the Government on the procedure of the RA state budget execution for the first quarter of 2023, the reference presented by the Government on the procedure of the RA state budget execution for the first half of 2023, as well as the reference presented by the Government on the procedure of the RA state budget execution for the nine months of 2023 and the RA Draft State Budget for 2024.
The Budget Office also prepared 192 profile references on the procedure of the execution of the expenditures designed by the RA State Budget for 2023, which were provided to the NA relevant Standing Committees, according to the spheres of their activities, as well as to the NA President, to the NA Vice Presidents, to all factions and deputies.

26 observations and inquiries were presented to the NA Standing Committees and the beneficiary deputies on the budgetary programs of 5 budgetary main regulators by the annual report of the RA State Budget for 2022.
In nine months of 2023, the Budget Office by the support of the UNDP Modern Parliament for a Modern Armenia Project and the USAID Public Financial Management Project prepared a workshop for the NA deputies, factions and the experts of the Standing Committees on the theme The RA State Budget Execution for 2022, stressing the program, fender-sensitive and the Sustainable Development Goals Budgeting Issues.
The Chair of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gevorg Papoyan noted that an attempt is made to add the capacities of the Budget Office, involving appropriate experts from the profile structures.

The Committee by voting made a decision to convene a joint sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security to debate the current conclusion of the Audit Chamber on the Audit results of the State Budget Execution for nine months of 2023 in the Ministry of Internal Affairs on February 26.
