Report of NA Budget Office on work done in the second quarter of 202

At July 7 extraordinary sitting moderated by Gevorg Papoyan, the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs debated the report of the NA Budget Office of the second quarter of 2023 on the work done and accepted as information.

According to the Coordinating-Expert of the Budget Office Ashot Yeghiazaryan, during the second quarter of 2023, 10 inquiries, 2 out of them – from the deputies, 8 – from the Standing Committees. In general, during the first half of the year, 36 inquiries were received, 13 out of which from the deputies, and 23 – from the Standing Committees. 140 certificates were provided to the Vice Presidents of the National Assembly, Standing Committees and factions, as well as to the deputies on the basis of the received inquiries. In general, during the first half of the year, 254 kinds of certificates were prepared.

It was noted that the Budget Office prepared profile certificates on the procedure of the execution of the expenditures designed by the state budget of 2023 (March, April, May) of the Republic of Armenia. The prepared 48 kinds of certificates (in the first half – 91) were provided to the NA relevant Standing Committees, according to the spheres of their activities, as well as to the Standing Committees, all factions and deputies.

As the rapporteur assured, during the reporting period, the Budget Office prepared 2 (in the first half of the year – 8) kinds of comparative-analytical certificates on the procedure of collecting tax revenues and state duties envisaged by the RA state budget of 2023 (January-March). They were also provided to the Vice Presidents of the National Assembly, all Standing Committees and factions and deputies.
