The Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly has signed the resignation letter of MP Gevorg Papoyan.
“Taking as a basis the resignation letter of the deputy by the requirement of Article 154.1.6 and Article 155.2.2 of the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, consider the powers of the deputy Gevorg Papoyan elected by the national electoral list of the Civil Contract party terminated,” the it is noted in the protocol signed by the RA NA President.
On February 24, the board of the ruling Civil Contract Party had discussed and approved Papoyan’s candidacy for the position of Minister of Economy of Armenia.
