According to Yerevan Urban Development Investment Project Loan Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the Asian Development Bank signed on November 27, 2023, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) agrees to provide our country with a loan of 60 million 90 thousand euros from ADB’s ordinary capital funds. The term of the loan is 27 years, the repayment term is 17. A grace period of 10 years is planned. The loan interest rate is 6-month EURIBOR (Euro Interbank Offered Rate) with a floating + 0.8 percent margin.
Presenting the issue of ratifying the Agreement at the NA regular sitting, the RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Kristine Ghalechyan informed that within the framework of the Agreement, the Isakov-Arshakunyats road section will be built, which will connect several administrative districts of Yerevan. A 269 m long bridge will be built over the Hrazdan River. Pedestrian underpasses with universal access for persons with impaired mobility are planned.
The debate of the issue will continue at the sitting of April 10.
The issue initiated by the parliamentary opposition about holding an urgent debate on the topic of public interest the problems of delimitation and demarcation between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan was debated behind closed doors.
