The participants of the torchlight procession expressed their support to the Armenian prisoners imprisoned in Baku.
This year, the participants of the torchlight march, dedicated to the commemoration of the victims of the Armenian Genocide and proceeding from the center of Yerevan to Tsitsernakaberd Monument every year on the evening of April 23, also carried banners with photos of Armenian prisoners illegally held in Baku prison.
In this way, the participants expressed their support to the Armenian prisoners and hostages illegally held in the prison of Baku. The banners read, “We demand the immediate release of the Armenian prisoners of Baku” and “Global silence, Global shame. No to Genocide.”
