Armenia’s participation in international peacekeeping missions, including the NATO-led KFOR mission in Kosovo, was also highlighted.

Deputy Minister Vahan Kostanyan briefed NATO partners on the security situation and challenges in the South Caucasus, the normalisation process of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, including the developments in the delimitation process based on the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration. The normalisation of relations with Turkey, a member of the Alliance, was also touched upon.

In the context of developing regional economic interconnectivity, Vahan Kostanyan also presented the “Crossroads of Peace” project developed by the Government of Armenia as well as the opportunities it provides.
