ARMENPRESS: According to the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Armenia’s resilience is not directed against its neighbors, on contrary, this resilience and the increase in Armenia’s security level are beneficial to its neighbors. Vasilis Maragos announced this within the framework of the panel discussion entitled “European Prospective of Armenia: Challenges and Opportunities”.
Touching upon cooperation between Armenia and the European Union in the field of agriculture, Maragos noted that the EU supported this area within the framework of a number of programs.
“I have visited several agricultural farms that operate with EU support, but I agree with the idea that more work could be done in this direction,” he noted.
The EU Ambassador expressed the opinion that the European Union is ready to facilitate exports from Armenia, to work towards standards, and is also ready to present the experience of member states in this matter.
