A consultation was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which issues related to the improvement of the procurement process and planned legislative changes were discussed.
In particular, reference was made to increasing the efficiency of the procurement process, capacity building, defining flexible arrangements, single-person and competitive procurement formats and procedures, development of digital systems, and planned changes in the above directions. The Prime Minister was presented with the possibilities of introducing an artificial intelligence tool in the state procurement process, as well as the necessary steps to solve the problems of the legal field.
An exchange of ideas took place, the heads of the concerned departments presented various observations and recommendations.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the consistent improvement of the state procurement process, which will contribute to the implementation of state programs more effectively and without delays. Nikol Pashinyan instructed the officials to summarize the presented recommendations based on the results of today’s discussion in order to initiate legislative changes.
