The 2024 “Step Toward Home” educational program, which took place from June 3 to August 24 in six rounds, has successfully concluded. This year, 600 Diaspora Armenian youth aged 13-18 from 20 different countries participated in the program.
Speaking at the final round’s closing ceremony, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan emphasized the program’s goal of preserving national identity and strengthening ties with the homeland among Diaspora Armenian youth.

“‘Step Toward Home” is one of our Office’s annual programs. I sincerely hope that during this time, you discovered a new side of Armenia and made lasting friendships,” said Zareh Sinanyan in his address to the participants.

Throughout the program, the youth engaged in Armenian language and cultural studies, including courses on Armenian history, national songs, and dances. They also visited Armenia’s historical and cultural sites and explored various educational opportunities available in the country.

The RA Government covered all expenses for the Armenian phase of the program.
