The adoption of the draft laws is conditioned by the necessity to introduce a digital system for concluding employment contracts, through which the transparency of the employment relations of the employee and the employer will be ensured, the parties to the employment relations will be given the opportunity to conclude employment contracts through the system, properly implement state control over compliance with the requirements of the labor legislation, the parties to the employment relationship who have the right to use the digital system will be given the opportunity to make the concluded employment contracts available at any time in a digital manner, in a synchronous mode.
At the sitting of November 26, the NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs debated in the second reading and endorsed the legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia and on Amending the Law on Audiovisual Media.
According to the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ruben Sargsyan, technical and editorial amendments were made to the drafts after their adoption in the first reading.
