The discussion focused on commemorating the Armenian Genocide in Cape Town, South Africa, and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.
The Cape Town Holocaust & Genocide Centre expressed interest in organizing a public commemoration event and a film screening later this year.
High Commissioner Sinanyan welcomed these initiatives and emphasized the importance of fostering global awareness and education about the Armenian Genocide, particularly through partnerships with respected institutions such as the Cape Town Centre and the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute in Yerevan.
