High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan met with Artashes Dadayan, Founder and Director of Winds of Armenia Sailing Club.
During the meeting, Mr. Dadayan presented the current activities of the sailing club and shared an overview of its strategic vision, including events planned for 2025, investment opportunities, and the initiative’s long-term objectives.
The Winds of Armenia project aims to foster a new sports and tourism subculture in Armenia, advance the development of water sports, promote youth athletic education, and contribute to addressing environmental challenges at Lake Sevan through the development of modern sports and tourism infrastructure.
The active tourism and sports complex offers sailing training programs, organizes local and international regattas, and hosts events for corporate clients.
The meeting also focused on potential areas of cooperation with the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.

It was agreed to explore collaboration through the Office’s Repatriation and Integration Center, participation in conferences organized by the Office, and joint efforts aimed at raising awareness of the initiative within Diaspora communities.
