Wizz Air to Open Base at Zvartnots Airport, Launching 8 New Direct Flights to Europe Starting October

Wizz Air is opening its base at Zvartnots, in connection with which the airline is expanding the geography of flights from October this year, adding 8 new direct flights to Europe:
Prague-Yerevan-Prague – from October 1
Hamburg – Yerevan-Hamburg – from October 1
Paphos – Yerevan-Paphos – from October 2
Nice- Yerevan-Nice – from October 2
Naples- Yerevan-Naples – from October 15
Bari- Yerevan-Bari – from October 26
Bucharest- Yerevan-Bucharest – from October 26
Memmingen- Yerevan-Memmingen – from October 28
The airline is also increasing the frequency of the route to Dortmund, bringing it to 4 flights per week.
Two state-of-art Airbus A321neo aircraft will be based in Zvartnots airport, which offers a 20% reduction in fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions compared to previous generation aircraft, alongside a 50% reduction in noise footprint.
In total, Wizz Air will operate flights from Yerevan to 17 destinations in 10 countries.
