Within the framework of his working visit to Japan, the Vice President of the RA National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan met with the Head of the Japan-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group Suzuki Shunichi.
During the meeting, the importance of the active work of parliamentary friendship groups was emphasized. It was noted that in the near future, an event dedicated to the National Day will be held at the Armenian pavilion within the framework of the Expo 2025 in Osaka. Hakob Arshakyan expressed hope that the Head of the Japan-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group will participate in that event.
The RA NA Vice President stated that a visit of the Armenian delegation to Japan is planned, during which the heads of the friendship groups will have the opportunity to meet. A discussion was also held on the possibility of a visit of Japanese parliamentarians to Armenia.
The Head of the Japan-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group Suzuki Shunichi highlighted the current level of cooperation with Armenia, and emphasized the significance of the opening of the Tumo Center. He expressed readiness to support the peace agenda.
