On June 20, the Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assmbly Arman Yeghoyan and the Committee member Sona Ghazaryan met with the Delegation led by the Head of the Poland-Armenia Friendship Group of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Lucjan Pietrzczyk.
Welcoming the guests’ visit to Armenia, Arman Yeghoyan noted that Poland, as a EU member state, important partner for Armenia.
Speaking about the Polish presidency of the European Union, the Committee Chair underscored: “I think Poland has done very important work over the past six months, especially on issues regarding the EU enlargement policy.” Arman Yeghoyan also valued cooperation with Polish partners on international platforms.
The Armenian parliamentarians touched upon the Crossroads of Peace project authored by the RA Government, also considering the role of Poland in implementing it.
