Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, in the presence of the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, initialed the Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Based on the mutual agreement with the Azerbaijani side, the initialed text of the Agreement will be published in the evening of August 11, Monday.
The ministers also signed a joint appeal addressed to the OSCE on the closure of the OSCE Minsk Group processes and related structures.
FM Mirzoyan made a post on X: “Truly historic moment for peace! Great and symbolic day for the Republic of Armenia, for the region, for the world. Today we also proclaim stronger connectivity, prosperity and a better future for our generations.”
