Head of Armenia’s Foreign Intelligence Service Kristinne Grigoryan stated that the military threats facing Armenia are “very low compared to several months or a year ago.” Speaking at the Comprehensive Security and Resilience-2025 international conference, she noted that the August 8 Washington agreements, as well as earlier work on border delimitation, have contributed to this situation.
Grigoryan stressed, however, that threats to Armenia’s democracy remain significant and should not be underestimated. According to her, these are mostly hybrid in nature and require daily attention.
