Following the welcoming ceremony at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defence, a tête-à-tête meeting was held between the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan and the Minister of Defence of Georgia Irakli Chikovani, which was followed by an expanded meeting with the participation of the delegations.
The Ministers highly appreciated the ongoing process of Armenia-Georgia cooperation in the defence sector, exchanged information on the reforms being implemented in the armed forces of both countries, and reached several agreements.
Topics related to regional security were also discussed.
