On December 17, 2025, the Inaugural meeting of Armenia-U.S. Bilateral Working Group in Support of the Outcomes of the August 8, 2025 Peace summit was held.
Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and Sonata Coulter, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of States, presented opening remarks and commended the actively developing Armenia-U.S. strategic partnership.
Deputy Minister Kostanyan highlighted the invaluable support of the U.S. to the establishment of peace in the South Caucasus and reiterated the interest of the Armenian side to actively work towards the implementation of the Armenia-U.S. Memoranda of Understanding, signed on August 8, namely the Crossroads of Peace Capacity Building Partnership, AI and Semiconductor Innovation Partnership, Energy Security Partnership.

Both sides highlighted the substantial steps towards the implementation of the Memoranda of Understanding and shared their respective progress reports in that direction. An agreement was reached to follow up on the concrete outcomes reached at the expert-level in a timely manner.
