On March 18, in Muscat, within the framework of the official visit to Oman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology of Oman.
Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that, although the primary purpose of the visit is the official opening of the Armenia’s Resident Embassy in Muscat, it has also provided a valuable opportunity to hold sectoral meetings.
The interlocutors specifically discussed issues on aviation and the promotion of transport connectivity, mutually emphasizing their readiness to facilitate the establishment of Yerevan-Muscat direct flights.
In the context of Armenia’s vision for developing regional connectivity, Minister Mirzoyan presented the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative, emphasizing that Armenia is committed to regional stability and the promotion of dynamic economic partnerships.
