“Solemn funeral rites were held last week at Saint Mary Church of New Julfa for Martyr Hovhannes Simonyan, the first Iranian Christian martyr of last month’s patriotic war. He was martyred in a brutal civilian bombing in Isfahan carried out by Israeli war criminals.
On this Easter day, I ask you to pray for the repose of the soul of Martyr Hovhannes Simonyan.
May his noble soul rest in eternal peace in the loving embrace of Jesus Christ.
