On April 6, Zareh Sinanyan, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, received Selina Doğan, former member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and Garegin Ter-Parsamyan, Principal of the Armenian Bomonti Mkhitaryan School of Istanbul.
During the meeting, the programs and initiatives implemented by the Office of the High Commissioner to strengthen Armenia–Diaspora ties were presented. The discussion also focused on opportunities to expand the participation of the Armenian community in Turkey, while addressing current community-related challenges.
The parties emphasized the importance of the continued development and deepening of Armenia–Diaspora relations, highlighting the need to encourage tourism and foster more active engagement of the Armenian community in the homeland’s agenda.
