With the framework of the events dedicated to the 81st Anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter Permanent Representative of Armenia to UN H.E. Mr. Paruyr Hovhannisyan joined the Permanent Representatives of UN member States in signing of the UN Charter.
Following the symbolic signing ceremony, Ambassador Hovhannisyan participated at the “Better Together: One Charter, One Future” meeting to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter and reaffirmed Armenia’s unwavering commitment to the purposes and principles of the UN Charter as the cornerstone of the contemporary international legal order.
At a time of growing geopolitical tensions and increasing challenges to international peace and security, we underscore the importance of multilateralism, preventive diplomacy, respect for international law, human rights, and the rule of law.
