On August 18, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Abraham Hamadeh, Member of the U.S. House Committee on Armed Services.
The interlocutors emphasized the historic significance of the Washington Peace Summit of August 8, 2025, in establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as in unlocking the region’s development potential. Efforts aimed at further institutionalizing peace were touched upon. The importance of resolving humanitarian issues was emphasized.
Both sides noted with satisfaction the unprecedented momentum in the development of the Armenia-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, reflected in tangible results of cooperation across various areas. In this context, among a number of other mutually beneficial initiatives, the establishment of the Firebird AI data center (AI Factory) in Armenia was particularly highlighted.
The prospects for expanding cooperation were discussed.
