Board of Trustees of the “Hayastan” All Armenian Fund Approves New Strategic Development Directions

YEREVAN, 15 September 2026 — At its meeting held on 15 September, the Board of Trustees of the “Hayastan” All Armenian Fund approved the Fund’s new strategic development directions.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan. Members of the Board of Trustees, representatives of pan-Armenian Diaspora organizations and invited guests attended the meeting.

Aramayis Avetisyan, Executive Director of the Fund, presented the three-year development strategy, its implementation roadmap and the Fund’s key programmatic priorities to the Board of Trustees.

The proposed strategy is built around four interconnected pillars: strategic development; organizational development; development of the Armenia–Diaspora cooperation ecosystem; and enhanced effectiveness in financial and operational management.

The strategic discussion was preceded by a presentation of the findings of the ad hoc committee established to develop the Fund’s strategic programs and enhance its operational effectiveness. Petros Terzian, a member of the committee, presented the results of its work to the Board of Trustees. The Board also discussed extending the committee’s mandate and defining its future responsibilities.

During the meeting, the proposed new structure of the Fund’s Executive Body was also presented, including the allocation of functions and responsibilities, decision-making and accountability mechanisms, and the envisaged organizational changes. The draft operating budget for 2027–2029 was also discussed.

The approved strategic directions are intended to place the Fund’s activities on the foundations of long-term planning, effective governance and measurable results.

Aramayis Avetisyan, Executive Director of the Fund, emphasized that the strategy was the result of a collaborative effort and expressed his gratitude to the Board of Trustees for its confidence and support.

Through the decisions adopted by the Board of Trustees, the “Hayastan” All Armenian Fund is embarking on a new phase of institutional development, focusing on stronger organizational capacity, clearly defined responsibilities, transparent governance and programs designed to deliver sustainable impact.
