LOS ANGELES — Sept. 16 — The Truth and Accountability League (TAAL) today announced the formal institutional endorsement of “Second Holy Land” by the prestigious Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. The upcoming landmark documentary film, directed by award-winning investigative journalist and filmmaker Vic Gerami, is recognized by the Center as a vital initiative to document and preserve early Christian antiquity at a moment of profound geopolitical crisis.
“Second Holy Land” unearths the last missing chapter from the global Christian narrative: Armenia’s extraordinary foundational role in the development of Christianity, spanning from the first-century arrival of the Apostles Thaddeus and Bartholomew to its rise as the world’s first Christian nation in A.D. 301.
Dr. Todd M. Johnson, director of the Center for the Study of Global Christianity and co-author of the “World Christian Encyclopedia,” issued the following official statement regarding the endorsement:
