“EVERYBODY HIGHLY MARKS THE RPA POSSIBILITIES”

NA chairman Tigran Torosian is sure.

• We face a sad fact in connection with the RA national anthem, factually we don’t have it at this moment and the current situation is rather delicate. How do you mark the current situation and what are the solutions?
• Unfortunately, the works of national anthem were carried out very carelessly, and there was neither necessity nor possibility to form such a situation. Nowadays reality is this, the draft of the government doesn’t exist in the agenda at this moment, and we must only adopt that draft in a special sitting for the RA to have its anthem. It’s a sad reality, but there is such attitude towards other drafts, too. But I think that practically there will be no problem before determining the anthem by law.
• Will you say who are guilty for the current situation?
• I don’t want to stress anyone, as well as I have never found guilty persons, the important is the reality and the made conclusions. I think it is very sad and inadmissible situation.
• Factually, there is no initiative either by the deputies or by the government to hold a special sitting for the anthem. Why don’t you initiate yourself/
• The NA chairman has so many things to do that it is impossible to be engaged in all issues, and it will be better to address the questions to the addressees to get clear answers.
• How do you remark the pre-electoral situation in the parliament; the parliamentarians are engaged in their own propaganda instead of their main legislative activities.
• NA activities haven’t suffered from that pre-electoral atmosphere; NA works not less effectively, so if there are some problems, they don’t deal with the pre-electoral period.
• Is it true that there is a strained situation inside Republican Party between old and new Republicans? As a deputy chairman, how do you remark this/
• There is nothing extraordinary. The obvious anti-propaganda towards Republican Party shows that all political forces highly mark the Republican’s possibilities in the coming parliamentary elections and try to reduce it by anti-propaganda.
• It seems that Serge Sargsian separately and Andranik Margarian separately is engaged in their own propaganda inside the party.
• It isn’t true.
• According to some sources, the RPA’s most serious rival in the coming elections will be Gagik Tsarukian’s “Prosperous”.
• Nowadays nobody has any necessary information to predict who will be serious rivals in the coming elections. The party has carried out its activities; the attitudes should be natural, normal as towards other parties. It is very important for a party to be a political one.
• Do you consider “Prosperous Armenia” as a political party?
• Frankly speaking, besides Gagik Tsarukian I know only Vardan Bostanjian from that party.
• Don’t you think that instead of political activities both “Prosperous Armenia” and RPA carry out benevolent activities?
• First of all the parties can’t be engaged in benevolent activities, charity isn’t a political activity and it will be sorrowful to replace one by the other.
• Some opposition forces make announcements about carrying out more effective political activities since February. In your opinion may such activities assist the development of democracy?
• Fifteen years are enough for each state to place democracy from the streets to structures and to perform the level of democracy by the activities of those structures.
