In the village of Lorut, the region of Lori, the population slaughter pigs everywhere. According to clarified information, 30 pigs from the village were slaughtered and sold in the markets of the capital city and Vanadzor, the capital of the region. Lyova Aydinyan, the veterinarian of the village, denies that the African plague has burst out in the village again, “The villagers have been warned many times to keep pigs in enclosed areas, however they let them out and if there is an infection, it is not ruled out that the disease will burst out again. ” The veterinarians, the State Agency for Food Safety and the regional administration of Lori deny that pigs of the village have fallen because of the disease. “One cannot say with the naked eye whether this is the African plague or the classic one, we have sent the samples, one can convincingly say only after getting the answer”, says Karen Melikyan, the chief expert of the inspection unit of the region of Lori, the State Agency for Food Safety. The villagers have kept pigs in the fields and hills so far and brought them back to the village only a week ago. “We have kept them to slaughter before the New Year, both to put it on the table and to take care of other expenses, if we had known, we would have slaughtered them in advance”, say the residents of the village of Lorut,
