Gohar Ghumashyan, a member of the “Strong Armenia” party, has been detained on suspicion of violating the ban on charitable activities.
”Gohar Ghumashyan is a nursing mother of a newborn infant; this is yet another instance of repression based on illegal and absurd grounds. This is a manifestation of the government’s recurring fears,” her party members stated.
Gohar Ghumashyan has three minor children.
