“There is no favorable atmosphere, in order that workman can live well,” this is the conclusion of Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the PAP, expressed during the party’s 6th congress today. Tsarukyan asked a set of rhetoric questions in this regard, “Why do they have success outside Armenia, become famous persons, get on their feet in 1-2 years and in Armenia it is not possible? There is one reason for that – there is no favorable atmosphere. People’s capitalism should be established, which will benefit not only the chosen people, but also the workman who wants to attain wealth. Emigration has reached formidable scale. We don’t create conditions for employment, but we struggle against poverty. The ultimate priority of our party will be creation of workplaces, in order that ordinary man senses the economic growth. In 2009, the economic crisis had negative impact on both our and all other countries, but unlike us, the governments of other countries lent a helping hand to villager and businessman. However, what have we done? We have closed small and medium enterprises, haven’t helped in any way. We assure you that we are able to guarantee respectable life for small and medium businessmen and ordinary citizens and we will all have a prosperous Armenia.” According to Tsarukyan, small and medium businessmen are “ignored.” Tsarukyan thinks the most powerful weapon in our country is citizen living respectably. The motto of the PAP will be “Powerful state, well-to-do family,” according to Tsarukyan, members of the PAP know how to reach it. The next motto is “Peace in the country.” “We should not look for enemies inside our country. In order to bail the country out of this situation, we should unite,” stated Gagik Tsarukyan, adding, “I responsibly state that we will do everything it takes to protect voter’s vote and rights. The PAP will do everything it takes to live up to our citizens’ trust, faith and hope. We have never disappointed the people and we will not disappoint them, I assure you.”

Speeches pertaining to socio-economic, political, healthcare, legislative fields of Armenia were made during the sixth congress of the PAP. Those will actually comprise the program of the party in the upcoming parliamentary election. The participants in the congress unilaterally adopted the party’s program.
