Joint project of free eye screenings and treatment launched by the Orange Foundation and the Armenian Eye Care Project (AECP) in Vayots Dzor region, which aimed to provide free eye screening services to the residents of the region, as well as treatment for socially vulnerable people, is coming to its end.
In the frames of the project 1,182 adults have undergone eye screening, around 155 adults have undergone deep eye screening in the mobile hospital, 494 glasses have been provided. Around 95 surgeries and laser treatments have been conducted in the mobile hospital in Yeghegnadzor and Jermouk.

To support the works of the AECP in Vayots Dzor region, the Orange Foundation has allotted 1.800.000 AMD.
Nazareth Seferian, Secretary General of the Orange Foundation, said: “Vayots Dzor is the fourth region we have visited with the Armenian Eye Care Project. We could be helpful for a lot of people: return the sight.
