There were a lot of victims under peaceful conditions in a military unit under his command. Today www.aravot.am was alerted that yesterday Lernik Abrahamyan had handed out an election bribe, by the way, a rather peculiar election bribe. He handed out the cattle of a farm that belongs to him. During a conversation with www.aravot.am, Lernik Abrahamyan said that no such thing had happened, “And it cannot happen.” In response to our question why people talked about it then, he said, “There are a lot of rumors. Don’t you know that?” In response to a question whether the news corresponded to the reality, the latter’s rival Gevorg Misakyan said, “Ask the people! You ask me; what do you expect me to say?”
By the way, the election in Aknalich has been held under the police officers’ supervision since morning. There are quite many police officers involved in enforcing law and order. Lernik Abrahamyan said that he was not aware why so many police officers had been in the community. Gevorg Misakyan, on the other hand, said that he, as the incumbent village headman, hadn’t called additional police officers to supervise the election. He was not aware of who had called them, “We haven’t alerted them; we didn’t have any concerns.”
