Non-government MP Karen Avagyan’s speech at the rally
My proud people,
We have gathered here, today, to say farewell to evil, lying and looting. In a few days, you will wake up in another Armenia, in a country where there is no injustice, no looting, no oligarchs and no skinheads (apart from my immediate supervisor), a country where people live free and dignified life. In a few days, our exile estranged brothers will return home from foreign lands, to their hearth and home. Time has come. Therefore, it is necessary to make just one move: to get rid of this gang.
Our country has never been so poor, so humiliated and so neglected. One should hate its own people so much to bring the country to this situation. Abandoned villages and towns, destroyed economy, international isolation, here’s what this regime has left to us. Saving the country from destruction and criminal authorities is the duty of dignified citizen of Armenia.

People, do you want to live in a country of Yuvetsi Karos, Tsaghik Rubos and Caramel Haruts? (the crowd shouting, “No”). Do you want the rich to suck people’s blood like leeches? (the crowd shouting, “No”, RPA grandmother’s voice is clearly heard, “Wow, damn them!”). Do you want your children to leave the country and take the pilgrim’s staff? (the crowd shouting, “No”).
Well, then, you should say this “no” to this disgraceful and criminal authorities. No to economic and political monopolies. No to rigged elections. No to verge of abyss, where our country is precipitating into.
Dear people. We have definite information that the august Emperor Vladimir Vladimirovich is closely following our powerful popular movement. There, in the Kremlin, they do not trust this government and would be very happy if we, together with you, are able to get rid of them.
My dear people, this government is living its last days. The agony cannot last long. It is apparent that those people are terrified of this powerful popular wave. The regime is in a panic.
