The Police Chief, Vladimir Gasparyan, had announced in Baghramyan Avenue that the solution offered by Serzh Sargsyan is a good one, and it would be much better in two months, when Armenia will take the ENA back. Aravot.am talked on this statement with economist Ashot Yeghiazaryan. “I do not believe such a thing. The Russian Company will not give ENA just for nothing, but at the same time, it is the opposite situation, when the Russian Company is unable to manage, to preserve and spend funds. It should try finding an option, once again using not its own resources, but the resources associated with the Armenians. I do not consider the talks about Samvel Karapetyan idle, in other words, it is an option, where the responsibility is not entirely on the Russian company. But at the same time, politically, I do not think that the ENA will simply allow the owner to be outside of the EaEU, to put it bluntly, a Western owner,” said the economist.
Ashot Yeghiazaryan forecasts that Russia will leave as it does not have any other option. “But alas, it will happen when nothing perhaps will remain here from this system. Because, until the last moment, it will try to preserve the control and find options in different ways.” Referring to the solution offered by the President, the economist said that he considers the audit a kind of mitigation of the situation. “And who obstructed to carry out an audit until now, now, the audit can always be done, it is a very normal process. The problem now in the energy system is different, questions that were raised: in our country, the electricity gets to the consumer at a very high cost, and the consumer is unable to pay, it is insolvent.”
