Human Rights Defender’s statement
A working group has been set up with a special mission of initiating official correspondence with the international organisations in relation with the targeted attacks from Azerbaijani side against Armenian civilian settlements, and specifically against children.
Active work is underway with international partners.
The Human Rights Defender of RA communicates with international organisations for the purpose of bringing the offensive operations initiated by Azerbaijani side against Armenian civilian settlements and civilians to their attention and making these events a matter for discussion.

These events constitute criminal actions that infringe all human rights and result in irreversible consequences.
The military operations against civilian population and more specifically against children’s educational institutions and children are particularly unacceptable.
Under Human Rights Defender’s lead the special mission working group is now examining all the information for the purpose of initiating official correspondence with the international organisations and with the objective of presenting reliable grounds concerning the impermissible actions from the Azerbaijani side against Armenian civil population. Works for presenting corresponding proposals to the international partners are underway.
