Counterattacking Armenia by Russian authorities after the absurd and groundless prevention popped up after the military escalations in April, the use of large-scale Russian weapons and Russian’s capricious attitude during the four days, I am sorry, but mocking-degree interpretations and tragic events, the agreement on “Creating a united regional air defense system in the Caucasian Collective Security region” signed between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, and actually, literally handing over Armenia’s air defence and the security of Armenia to Russia, which is nothing more but to voluntarily surrender to Russian caprice is at least treachery, and actually a legalized occupation …
They are going to be accountable to the history, both the signatories of such agreements and those who gave this privilege as well as those who are silent and concealing these phenomena, who truly must appear in the trash of the Armenian history … When the Military Minister of the First Republic of Armenia commanded Garegin Nzhdeh to leave Zangezur and hand it over to Azerbaijan according to the agreement reached between the Armenian authorities and Russia’s Bolshevik representative Legrand, due to which the Bolsheviks allegedly should have left Armenia alone and not to do any infringement against the independence of Armenia, the prophet of the Armenian battlefield realized that Zangezur is not only the part of the homeland that after receiving it as a gift would leave the independence of Armenia alone and will tolerate that Zangezur is the strategic standpoint which having in hands, the Bolshevik Russia will put an end to the independence of Armenia a day earlier.
And the prophet-worth decision was conveyed to the RA military minister, refusing to obey the RA authorities’ incompetent, anti-national and treacherous, cowardly decision, Nzhdeh prophetically declared: there are times in the history when the interests of daily authorities should be subordinated to eternal interests of the nation. “In the time of danger”: in such a historical conditions, the standard of the leader and his question must be: what does the eternal interest of my country and nation dictate, rather that only the daily authorities …
The excuses that peace cost very expensive, and it is very necessary to make concessions for the sake of peace are incorrect as no seeming or real peace does not even deserve an inch of the motherland, any concessions devastating the security of the homeland. Trusting strategic and any sphere ensuring the security of Armenia to anyone, especially such an inimical ally trust means a privileged self-suicide, legally and with state betrayal. Only people are talking about concessions to whom Nzhdeh’s vow is alien, which also became the vow of the generation fallen heroically in April: die but do not retreat when you defend Armenia. “The true heroes appear during the times of danger,” I am confident that the true heroes will come to Yerevan one day … It is time for danger, time for appearing Nzhdeh’s foster “rebels”, those who would dream to die with Nzhdeh’s “To Arms!” battle call in their lips. “To Arms!”
