On 17 January, Armen Sarkissian, Ambassador of Armenia to UK, had a meeting with Alan Duncan, MP, Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign Office.
The sides discussed a range of topics of the Armenian-British cooperation agenda and underlined the significance of 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. They took note of the progress achieved in bilateral relations and outlined the prospects of cooperation.
Highlighting the importance of joint steps towards further development of bilateral political dialogue, Ambassador Sarkissian noted that there is a large potential to develop sectorial cooperation through implementation of projects in areas such as IT, finance, banking and culture.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
