The President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan said that the Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan has no reason to resign, “And the regularly published news about the existing contradictions and conflict are merely imaginary ideas. We are very well aware of the authors of this staging, of what their wishes are, but I think it will have no impact on the situation”.
The leader of the RPA faction, Vahram Baghdasaryan was asked whether he knows who the authors of the staging are. Mr. Baghdasaryan said not to look for them in the RPA, “We do not have such problems at least in our party. There might be individuals who have certain interests in that. Media know that better, as media implements such orders”.
In response to the remark, whether other political powers are trying to drive a wedge between the Prime Minister and the President, he again pointed the arrow towards the media, “I cannot say. Media can tell who order them to publish articles on such imaginative ideas”.
The former Defence Minister, a leader of the “ORO” alliance, Seyran Ohanyan talked about unions beyond the parliament and extra-parliamentary processes, not excluding force majeure situations. Vahram Baghdasaryan answered the question regarding this case, “Let us wait for the developments. Different people give different promises. Raffi Hovannisian had also promised”.
