The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian evaluated Turkish invasion of Syria’s Afrin region and carrying out military actions against Kurds.
“The fact that a new tension is emerging in the region os concerning, which has brought forth human victims, injuries. The fight against the Islamic State and other terrorist structures were lately making us hopeful that the situation in Syria was pursuing the path of stability, but this tension is a hindrance to the peace process”, noticed Edward Nalbandian. As stated by him, it is evident that Syrian conflict should be solved via negotiation.
“We are hopeful that the negotiations will lead to the resolution of the issue through a dialogue”, he announced.
