Earthquake hits Armenia

On May 5, at 07:13 information was received from the Seismic Protection Survey (SPS) that at 06:55 local time, the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake at the northern latitude 40.240 and eastern longitude 44.500 geographic coordinates (Armenia, 6 km north-west from Yerevan) with 2.0 magnitude and 10 km depth.

The tremor measured magnitude 2-3 points at the epicenter area.

The earthquake was felt in Zovuni village, Kotayk Province with 2-3 points.
