Famous composer Alexey Shor, US resident, loves Armenia for personal reasons. “My father was raised in Armenia, he had lived here for 12 years. By the way, we were deciding to come to your country for any occasion, but did not succeed. Fortunately, I came here with my parents last year and we spent a wonderful time. This time I am in Armenia for my ballet, “Crystal Castle”, which was performed in the “Great Theatre” for two times. I am very pleased that the public accepted my ballet well in Yerevan, too,” said the composer during the interview to Aravot.am.
We also learnt from him that he had visited Gyumri and Pushkino in days, where his father had lived back then. “We even found the house which was already old. We took photographs in the same places as on the photographs of my childhood which we keep at home. I will never forget that exciting episode,” said Alexey Shor.
