“Bright Armenia” party has opened and continues to open offices in the regions and in Yerevan. “Now we have focused on Yerevan because the City Council elections are going to be held soon”, said Head of “Bright Armenia” party, “Yelq” bloc member Edmon Marukyan in an interview at the parliament. Whether what means they use to open those offices, Edmon Marukyan answered: “The means of the members of the political council of the party”.
According to Marukyan, they did not have functioning offices in all regions, because of the situation created during Republicans’ office. “They have frightened and threatened anyone who wanted to support the party, thus no one dared to even provide us with a territory. It is not that we did not have supporters, we had financial problems. Whereas they had territories for their offices since they were in power”.
Edmon Marukyan asked: “Has anyone asked the Republicans how they have acquired so much wealth and used it for opening offices?”. As for the Yerevan City Council elections, Edmon Marukyan said: “We still can take part as “Yelq” bloc, but if we do not succeed, we will participate separately”.
