1in.am had informed that the Member of Parliament from “Tsarukyan” alliance, Vardan Bostanjyan had submitted an application on renouncing his mandate and the reason was that Bostanjyan had told during one of the interviews that he saw political persecution elements as far as the Second President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan’s detention was concerned.
The information was confirmed by “Prosperous Party of Armenia” (PAP) sources at Aravot.am’s request. The party has demanded Bostanjyan to leave his mandate, inasmuch as he had rushed to reveal his opinion publicly before the PAP made a decision on Kocharyan’s detention and published it, which perhaps does not coincide with “Tsarukyan” faction or PAP opinion.
