Several residents have closed off yesterday the Iran-Armenia roads near Karahunj, Syunik and are demanding the resignation of Hunan Poghosyan. Deputy Mayor of Goris Menua Hovsepyan told Aravot.am that there were only four people who closed off the roads.
“I approached them and asked them why they’re going against the Prime Minister, considering he’s the one who appointed Poghosyan,” the deputy mayor said.
The people who had closed off the roads are members of the Goris branch of the “Civil Contract” political party.
Hovsepyan said that the roads are now open, and they had been closed off for only a short period of time.
