President of the ‘Azat Hayrenik (Free Homeland)’ political party and candidate for President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, spoke with reporters in Shushi about his opinion of third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan’s statement and what the people of Artsakh think about it.
“You need to ask the people what they think. I have never spoken to the people about this issue during our meetings. I do not want to comment on everything. I can say that changes in the judicial system are taking place slowly but surely, and I am certain that no one in Armenia will be arrested and punished without reason,” Harutyunyan said.
Regarding rumors about his arrest, Serzh Sargsyan had said, “If our people will be pleased and happy with my arrest, if March 1st and October 27th will be completely uncovered with my arrest, if all threats posed to our country will be eliminated with my arrest, and if negotiations over Artsakh will return to the right path with my arrest, then let them arrest me.”
