On February 24 the recurrent consultation of the Rescue Service was held in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RA. The consultation was led by Vrezh Gabrielyan, r/s General-Major, Director of the Service.
Heads of various subdivisions, Yerevan and Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of MES gave the Director reports on the implemented activities, issues raised during the service, as well as passable condition of roads in the Provinces of RA.
Director of the Rescue Service informed that the law of RA on “Making changes and additions to the Law of the Republic of Armenia on “Rescue Service”” entered into force on February 22 and implies quite serious actions by the Rescue Service.
He assigned the Heads of Departments of the Rescue Service to prepare a list of measures ensuring the application of the above law within five days.

At the same time, assigned HR Department of the Rescue Service to present suggestions on the RS charter, changes in position passports, as well as developing a list of RS staff.
V. Gabrielyan touched upon to the activity of the working group sent to the Regional Departments for the process of service implementation, verification of service documents and methodical assistance by the order of F. Tsolakyan, Minister of Emergency Situations and assigned the Rescue Forces Department to summarize identified disadvantages after completing and present in the training will be held on February 28 by the training group of the Director of the Rescue Service.

Director of the Service talk about staff performance and activity discipline, implementation of government recommendations. The Heads of all Departments were tasked with planning their activities so that all employees have an equal workload in the Departments.
It was assigned to raise the level of demand for the final results of the assignments final results by the subordinates and connected this issue with the criteria for assessment the activity of rescuers. It was explained to the Heads of Department how and what grade they should assess the implemented activity by their employees.
S. Avagyan, r/s Colonel, Head of Service Organization Department made a report on implemented and failed assignments, errors and bugs found in documents. Director of the Service assigned the Service Organization Department to control the registration of endpoint emergency devices in Provinces and Yerevan.
All Regional Rescue Departments were assigned to implement a study on optimization and introduction of more effective forms of emergency warning system and present the suggestions for introducing innovative approaches to the system.
Director of the Service, taking into account that programming of the rescue helmet with camera was finished, assigned the Service Organization Department to develop a guide for the operation of new rescue helmets until February 28. The
Regional Rescue Service Departments were assigned to implement training according to the developed guidelines and take exams after the training.
Director of the Service again touched upon the issue of staff training and assigned the Regional Rescue Service Departments to Involve only trained and passed the exam by the methodological manual for fire extinguishing of vegetative covers rescuers in firefighting activities in vegetative covers. He particularly emphasized following the training of firefighters in CD emergency point of Tavush Province.
Director of the Service assigned the Head of Crisis Management National Center to update emergency warning scheme.
