On July 6, at 05։31 local time (01:31 GMT) the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake of magnitude 2.2 and ten kilometers depth with the geographic coordinates of 40.03⁰ in northern latitude and 44.53⁰ in eastern longitude on the 6th kilometer south- east from Marmarashen village, Ararat Province, Armenia.

The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 2-3.

The earthquake was felt in Dvin, Marmarashen and Vostan villages with the magnitude of 2.
